Samsung Electronics, which has launched several smartphones, is going to unveil Samsung Galaxy Note 2 which is expected to make good business like the original version.
It is reported that new Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be unveiled during IFA 2012, which is going to be held in Berlin in August. And the smartphone-tablet hybrid device is going to feature 5.5-inch display.
According to earlier reports, Galaxy Note 2 is said to feature a 12-megapixel camera and a quad-core processor along with Android Jelly Bean operating system support. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is modeled on Galaxy S3 and likely to sport a body narrower than its previous version.
Another smartphone that is making waves lately is HTC's EVO 4G LTE which has received equal attention from consumers. The new device with 8.9 mm thickness almost closes in with Galaxy S3's 8.6 mm thickness.
The smartphone has a 4.7-inch Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixels display, 16 GB storage, 1 GB RAM, up to 32 GB microSD support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth version 4.0 MHL USB port version 2.0, LTE support, 8-megapixel camera which capture videos at 1080p, dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor and Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery. The phone has a smart design and handy.
In fact, Galaxy S3 and the EVO 4G LTE are very similar in many aspects when it comes to chipset, 720p display and camera. Moreover, HTC EVO 4G LTE steals the show from Galaxy S3 with its anodized aluminum unibody which gives an excellent tactile experience compared Samsung's smartphone which has a plastic body. However, Samsung Galaxy S3 is a powerful smartphone delivering the best Android experience that no other smartphone can probably beat.
Looking at the specifications, Galaxy Note 2's design, which is inspired by Galaxy S3, is surely going to set a bigger standard for other smartphones.
