The roll out of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system update for Samsung's Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 has been reportedly delayed due to issues with the new TouchWiz and user interface.
According to SamMobile community website, Samsung's Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 owners will have to wait a little longer to get hold of Jelly Bean operating system update because of the problems in newer TouchWiz and UI version which the company is testing on the aforementioned devices.
"Samsung delayed 4.2.2 for Note II and S III. Reason new TW for S III and Note II," SamMobile said on Twitter.
However, there is no information when the update will be released and Samsung is yet to respond to the latest reports. SamMobile has a good record of releasing correct information about Android update for Samsung devices, hence the latest news may hold a ring of truth.
Earlier in May, it was the same website which said that a number of Samsung devices have been pegged to receive Android's latest 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS update. Following the OS update news, the website also revealed the Android 4.2.2 build for Galaxy S3. Apart from Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3, it was also said that Galaxy Note and Galaxy S2 are due to receive the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS update.
