Samsung has released yet another budget smartphone, the Galaxy J2 Pro close on the heels of the Galaxy J2 (2016) launch. The latest handset will be available in India on Tuesday at Rs. 9,890, which means it will have to take on the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Meizu M3 Note in the Indian market.

The 16GB storage and 2GB RAM variant of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Meizu M3 Note are priced at Rs. 9,999, so they will compete with Samsung's new device in the market. Here is specification comparison of these devices to give a fair idea of what they have in offer:

Display

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Meizu M3 Note feature a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density), while the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro sports a 5-inch super AMOLED HD display with 1,280x720 pixels (293 ppi pixel density).

Processor

The Galaxy J2 Pro is powered by a Spreadtrum SC8830 processor, while the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650, and the Meizu M3 Note has MediaTek Helio P10.

Operating System

The Meizu M3 Note runs Android 5.1 Lollipop based FlymeOS operating system, and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, while Galaxy J2 Pro runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Storage & RAM

All the three devices come packed with a 16GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB) and 2GB RAM.

The Meizu M3 Note houses a 4,100mAh battery, while the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has a 4,000mAh, and the Galaxy J2 Pro has 2,600mAh battery.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Meizu M3 Note stand shoulder to shoulder with the former having superior camera and the latter scoring more on battery. The handsets score even on several departments like screen size and resolution, processor, operating system, stortage and RAM.
