With an affordable variant of the Samsung Galaxy Grand widely expected to debut in early 2014, a new report reveals the South Korean tech giant is now readying another Grand variant, dubbed Galaxy Grand Neo.
The folks at SammyHub, citing sources, claims the Korean company's next device is in the making and when launched it will be placed below the Galaxy Grand 2. Interstingly, the specifications of the purported Galaxy Grand Neo appear to be the same as that of the much-rumoured Samsung's Galaxy Grand Lite, leading to the allusion that both phones could be the same.
The leaked info regarding the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo suggets the device boasts features like 1.2GHz quad-core A7 CPU and a 5-inch WVGA display. Other speculated features include Android 4.3 operating system with Samsung's enhancement 'Multi Window'. According to the report, the alleged Galaxy smartphone is likely to flaunt the same design of the Galaxy Grand 2. However, the report did not divulge any other details of the smartphones.
Earlier this week, technology website PhoneArena had reported that a Sammy device, codenamed GT-19060 and believed to be the speculated Galaxy Grand Lite, has reached the American government-owned FCC (Federal Communication Commission). The rumoured Galaxy Grand Lite is said to come with a 5.0-inch WVGA (480x800p) display and 1.2GHz Quad-core processor. Other features include 1GB RAM, 8GB (with microSD card), a 5.0-megapixel main camera and dual SIM slots. The devcie is expected to come in midnight black, orange, lime green and white colour variants.
