Samsung Galaxy Chat B5330, better known as Galaxy Chat, is up for sales in India at online retail site, Saholic, at a price tag of ₹8,499.
First Announced in July, Samsung Galaxy Chat, which is the upgraded version of Galaxy Y Pro, sports a 3-inch 240x320 pixels resolution touch screen with a QWERTY keypad and a standard 2-megapixel camera. The smartphone runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS and packs an internal memory of 4 GB that's expandable up to 32GB.
The device features an 850 MHz processor hosting 512MB of RAM. The device also includes Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G and FM Radio with RDS and is powered by a 1,200 mAh battery.
Galaxy Chat weighs 112g and is 11.7mm thick and comes preloaded with Image/video editor. It also packs some of the Samsung apps like instant messaging app, Samsung S Planner, and AllShare Play which provides users a multimedia experience by connecting to the same device or to other devices.
Galaxy Chat will be available in Black and White colour variants to Indian consumers. The Korean manufacture has been offering several devices which use Android Operating System and Galaxy Chat is its latest offing. Earlier this month, Samsung unveiled dual-SIM Galaxy S Duos and Galaxy Y Duos Lite smartphones in the domestic market.
The original version of Galaxy Chat was announced earlier this year. It uses Android 2.3 version and sports a 3.6-inch capacitive touchscreen display.
