Samsung appears to be getting ready to release yet another device from its C-series called the Galaxy C9. The company is not willing to reveal any details of the handset but leaks have exposed information, including its specifications and design.
A Samsung device with model number SM-C9000, believed to be the Galaxy C9, has been spotted on Zauba, an imports and exports tracking site in India, for testing. The same handset has been certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification, giving a clear hint that its release date is not far off. It won't come as a surprise if it is unveiled this month.
According to benchmarking sites, the Galaxy C9 will sport a 6-inch Full HD display with 920x1,080 pixels, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, comes packed with a 6GB RAM, and mounts a dual16MP cameras. It is expected to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, house by a 4,000mAh battery and come with a new antenna design.
It is also reported that the upcoming device will share several features with the Galaxy C5 that was released a few months ago.
The South Korean technology giant floated a new series through the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 a few months ago. The devices are exclusive to the Chinese market, so the upcoming Galaxy C9 too is unlikely to be released outside China and may not be released in India.
