Earlier in the month, Samsung had confirmed to launch a new smartphone in China on October 21. But before the company could officially reveal the device, an e-commerce site has jumped the gun by listing it on the site with key features and price details.
As per TMall's e-store page, the new Samsung device will be called Galaxy C9 Pro and come with metal-clad cover on the back with a mammoth 6.0-inch full HD display on the front.
Under the hood, it is said to house Qualcomm's new unveiled Snapdragon 653 (4 x Cortex A72 + 4 x Cortex A53) octa-core CPU, 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and a massive 4,000mAh battery with fast charging technology.
Besides a new processor, another notable aspect of Galaxy C9 Pro is its camera hardware. It has two 16MP cameras on both front and back. They feature f/1.9 aperture and full HD video recording ability.
The new Galaxy C9 Pro is said to cost ¥3,199 (approx. $473/€435/Rs. 31,647) and will be made available in two colour options—gold and rose gold.
So far, Samsung has not made any official comment on the Galaxy C9 Pro.
