Samsung's rumoured Galaxy C9 has made a stop at a popular benchmarking site, revealing key features of the device.
Samsung device SM-C9000, understood to be the Galaxy C9, has scored an impressive 1034 and 4366 points on single-core and multi-core tests, respectively, on the Geekbench site.
In the system description section, Galaxy C9 is said to feature Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 (MSM8976) octa-core with 6GB RAM.
Other key features such as screen size, storage and battery capacity are yet to be ascertained. But the Galaxy C9 is likely to be China exclusive, as all the previous C series devices have never been released outside the country.
Usually when an un-released smartphone appears on a benchmarking site, the company is at a stage of testing prototypes and once satisfied with the performance, it will finalise the product for mass production.
If the previous release pattern is considered, the Galaxy C9 is expected to be make its debut in a month or two.
