It has been reported that Samsung's latest offering, the Galaxy C5, will be exclusive for the Chinese market, but the device has been spotted on Zuaba, a website that tracks imports and exports in India, hinting that it could be released in other regions too. The handset will take on devices like the Xiaomi Mi 5, OnePlus 2 and Google Nexus 5X in the Indian market if released in the country.
The Galaxy C5 comes in two versions, one with a 32GB internal memory priced at 2199 Yuan, which is around Rs. 22,500, and the other with a 64GB storage that costs 2399 Yuan (Rs. 24,500). The device may come with a different price tag for India if released, but it is very unlikely to be below Rs. 20,000.
Interestingly, the Xiaomi Mi 5 (32GB) is priced at Rs. 24,999, the Google Nexus 5X (16 GB) at Rs. 23,990 (Rs. 27,990 on Google Store), and the OnePlus 2 16GB at Rs. 20,999 and Rs. 22,999 for the 32GB version. So, the Galaxy C5 is very likely to take on these devices if released in India.
