A Samsung device with model number SM-C5000, which is believed to be the Galaxy C5 from the company's C series product line, has been spotted on Bluetooth SIG, hinting that its release date is not far off.
The Samsung Galaxy C5 (SM-C5000) is seen on Bluetooth SIG for certification, according to SamMobile. A device has to be certified by Bluetooth SIG before release.
The South Korean electronic giant has been tight-lipped on its upcoming Galaxy C5 but several details, including features and pictures have been leaked over the last few weeks. The device is expected to be released in May.
The device with model number SM-C5000 has been spotted on Zauba with 5.2-inch screen. Zauba is a website that tracks imports and exports in India. Samsung is yet to open up on the SM-C5000, but is believed to be the Galaxy C5.
Interestingly, popular leakster Steve Hemmerstoffer @OnLeaks has posted a couple of pictures of the upcoming samrtphone, and it looks good with a metal body, and good design. French website NoWhereEsle and MyDrivers too have posted alleged pictures of the handset.
The Galaxy C5 features a 5.2-inch Full HD display, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor with 4GB RAM, and it will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow straight out of the box. The leaked pictures confirm what we previously reported about the Galaxy C5 having a thin metal body. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy C5 in China first and it's unclear if the handset will be released in other markets.

It is reported that the device is exclusively for China, but it appears like it will be released in other markets too, especially India as it has been spotted on Zauba.
