Samsung is not revealing anything about its upcoming mid-range device Galaxy C5 from the C series, however, almost every detail, including release date and specifications, have been leaked over the last few weeks. New images of the device have been leaked now, and it looks beautiful in various colours.
The Galaxy C5 will be unveiled along with the Galaxy C7 in China on Thursday, according to TechUpdate3 (via SamMobile). It is reported that the devices will be available exclusively in China, but there are hints that it could be seen in other markets as well. A Samsung device with model number SM-C5000, believed to be the Galaxy C5, has been spotted on Zauba, a website that tracks imports and exports in India.
A series of the Galaxy C5 images in several colours –gold, pink gold, gray and silver – have been published on SamMobile ahead of its launch. The handset looks beautiful and is in sync with other pictures leaked earlier.
The Galaxy C5 will come with a price tag of 1,599 Yuan (around $246), sport a 5.2-inch FullHD screen with 1,920x1080p display resolution, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 64-bit octa-core processor, abd run Android 6.0 Marshmallow, according to Chinese website MyDrivers (via SamMobile). It went on to say that the handset will have a 32/64GB internal storage, 4GB RAM, 16MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture, 8MP front-snapper, Ultra High Quality Audio (UHQA) and a 2,600mAh battery.
On the other hand, DigiTech (via PhoneArena) has reported that the Galaxy C5 may cost more than expected, with the 32GB model being priced at about $335 and the 32GB variant at $400.
