After launching the mid-range Galaxy A9 Pro in China in March 2016, Samsung is doing the ground work to release the metal-clad phablet in the global market.
Samsung's Galaxy A9 Pro model – SM-A910F/DS, understood to be the international model — has received certifications from Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group), Tablety, a Poland-based technology blog reported, citing the official document.
The revelation comes just days after the same device got the nod from Wi-Fi Alliance. Usually, smartphones get released in a matter of weeks after getting certification from telecommunication agencies and other regulatory bodies. So Samsung's Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A910F) series is most likely to make its global debut by the end of June, if not earlier.
For the uninitiated, Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro sports 6.0-inch full HD super AMOLED display and comes packed with Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory and a massive 5000mAh battery.
In China, Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) costs 3,499 Yuan (around $540 / Rs. 35,800) and is expected to be priced in the same range when launched in other markets.
