After weeks of speculations, Samsung is finally ready to pull the wraps off Galaxy A8s, which is touted to herald a new design language for mobiles in the industry.
Samsung's new Galaxy A8s is slated to be unveiled in Beijing later today at 4 pm local time (1:30 pm IST/12:00 am PST/3:00 am EST). Though Galaxy A8s is a mid-range phone, the company wants to show the new device to the entire world and has made arrangements to live stream the event on its official page (link below).

As said before the upcoming Galaxy A8s is a very special phone particularly in terms of the exterior design. It is said to be the company's first ever device to boast Infinity Display-O screen and possible become a reference model for most phones slated to come in 2019.
In the current generation Galaxy S, A and even the Note series for that matter, the Infinity Display cascade to the left and right sides up to the middle of the frame and on top and the base, the bezels trimmed. But, with new Infinity Display-O, the bezel on the top is completely gone, while the base bezel is trimmed with very less physical space, which will make the Galaxy A8s a unique-looking phone in the industry.
It is expected to sport a huge 6.3-inch LCD screen with 2340x1080p resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Inside, it is said to come with a Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor backed by sumptuous 6GB RAM, 64GB(or more) storage, Android Pie and a 3,400mAh battery, which should be enough to keep the device running for a whole day under normal usage.
Besides the design language, Galaxy A8s will come with a feature-rich photography hardware. It is expected to come with a feature-rich 24MP front-camera. On the back, it will house a triple camera setup- 24MP primary sensor, 10MP wide-angle sensor, 5MP depth sensor to produce good quality images.
