Samsung is tight-lipped on the release of its upcoming devices, but it appears to be getting ready to launch yet another handset from its A Series –Galaxy A8 (2016). Now, purported pictures of the device have been leaked online, and they hint that it will be thinner than Samsung's next-generation device, Galaxy Note 7.
The South Korean technology giant may unveil Galaxy A8 (2016) soon, perhaps in the next few weeks, though it hasn't announced the release date. It has already cleared Bluetooth certification, giving a hint that its launch is imminent. Earlier reports had suggested that the device could come in August, as its predecessor was released at this time of the year, but it didn't turn out right.
Leakster Steve Hemmerstoffer aka @OnLeaks has now tweeted the purported pictures of Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) with a dimension measuring 156.5x77.5x7.3 mm, which is thinner than the 153.5x73.9x7.9 mm seen in the Galaxy Note 7.
According to Geekbench, a Samsung device with model number SM-A810F, believed to be Galaxy A8 (2016), will be powered by a 2.1GHz Exynos 7420 processor, comes packed with a 3GB RAM, and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
