Samsung is looking to heat up the competition in the mid-range smartphone category by slashing the price of its slimmest Galaxy A3 smartphone in India.
The latest price cut for the Galaxy A3 makes it the cheapest metallic smartphone sold by Samsung and makes for a worthy purchase for consumers. If you are in the market for a new mid-range device, Samsung Galaxy A3 can be your choice at ₹14,900, down from its usual ₹20,500 price tag.
Buyers are on the benefitting end with this new bargain, which saves them ₹5,600 on purchasing the new Galaxy A3. This is the second price cut since Samsung launched the A3 smartphone in India in January. Just last month, the handset's price dropped to ₹17,400. The entire Galaxy A series has received a generous price cut since launch.
At the discounted price, buyers get a 4.5-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 1.5GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. There's also an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and a 5MP front snapper for selfies. To power up the smartphone, Samsung packs a 1,900mAh battery.
One of the most highlighted features of the A3 smartphone is its design. Measuring at just 6.9mm, the handset features a sleek full metal body.
Samsung A3 also boasts exclusive features such as Ultra-Power Saving Mode and Private Mode. Additional features include dual SIM support, 4G LTE, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The handset runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out of the box.
You can buy the Samsung Galaxy A3 smartphone from the company's official eStore at its discounted price. Amazon India is also offering a similar deal on A3 smartphone.
