Samsung is all set to release its 2016 edition of A series devices â€" the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 â€" in the UK and Germany. Pre-order for the devices has been opened in these countries but there is no information on their shipping yet.
The South Korean electronics giant announced the Galaxy A3 (2016), Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) in December 2015, but they are available only in China till now.
Samsung A series smartphones are now available for pre-order in the UK, with the Galaxy A3 (2016) priced at £269, A5 (2016) at £319, and the A7 (2016) at £399 on MobileFun, according to a report by GSMArena. The company hasn't revealed the shipping details, but it is expected to begin soon.
The report went on to say several retailers have started accepting pre-orders of Galaxy A3 (2016) for â'¬306.31 and A5 (2016) â'¬396.17 in Germany. However, it is not known when Galaxy A7 (2016) will come to the country.
Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) specifications: The device sports a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixels (312 ppi pixel density). Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor that clocks at 1.5GHz, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, 16GB internal memory expandable up to 128GB via microSD card, 1.5GB RAM, 13MP main camera, 5MP secondary snapper and a non-removable Li-Ion 2,300mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) specifications: It sports a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 1920 pixels (424 ppi pixel density), powered by an octa-core processor clocking at 1.6 GHz and running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The device also comes packed with 16GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card, 2GB RAM, 13MP main camera with f/1.9 and OIS, 5MP front-snapper and non-removable Li-Ion 2,900mAh battery.
