Samsung has started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat operating system to its mid-range smartphone Galaxy A3 (2016) a few days after Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) received the OS update.
Android 7.0 Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) weighs 950MB and is currently available only for the handsets in Hungary, according to StechGuide. There is no word o the release of the new firmware in other countries but history has indicated that it should happen sooner than later.

It can take a couple of days for the Android 7.0 Nougat update to come to your Galaxy A3 (2016) handsets (only in Hungary at the moment) as is the case of all OTA (over-the-air) rollouts.
How to install Android 7.0 Nougat on your Galaxy A3 (2016) device:
- Android 7.0 Nougat download notification will appear on your phone screen
- Press "Download" button
- Press "Restart & Install" button
- Rebooting will begin automatically
- You will see "Installing System Update" notice when installation starts
- Upgrading begins automatically
- Android 7.0 Nougat will run on your device after upgrading is done
You can also manually check the availability of the new software by going to – 'Settings' >> 'About phone' >> 'System updates' >> 'Check For Update'.
It may be noted that the South Korean technology giant released Android 7.0 Nougat update to Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy Note 5 before seeding it to its Galaxy A series.
The next in line for the new firmware could be Galaxy A8, Galaxy J7 (2016), Galaxy J7 Prime, Galaxy J5 (2016), Galaxy On7, Galaxy C5, Galaxy C7, Galaxy C7 Pro, Galaxy C5 Pro, and Galaxy C9 Pro. However, the company is yet to announce and is unlikely to announce the release schedule of the OS to its eligible devices.
