Samsung has finally confirmed the miniature version of its best-selling Samsung Galaxy S4 via its UAPROF website.
According to a SamMobile report, Samsung's Galaxy S4 mini listing on the website has indicated that the South-Korean's firm's next release is not far off. The report said that the company will launch Galaxy S4 mini in two variants. The single SIM variant, codenamed GT-I9190, will be powered by a quad-core processor, while the dual-SIM GT-I9192 model will come with a dual-core processor. Another variant of Samsung Galaxy S4 with LTE support is also likely to be launched.
Galaxy S4 mini has been speculated ever since the launch of its bigger sibling. The phone is speculated to come with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display with pixel density of 256ppi. Other rumoured specifications include Android 4.2.2 jelly Bean, 1.6GHz dual-core processor, Samsung's new TouchWiz interface Nature UX 2.0, dual-SIM capability, 4G LTE and HSPA+.
GSMArena had earlier revealed four variants of Galaxy S4 Mini, bearing model numbers GT I-9190, GT I-9192, GT I-9195 and the GT I-9198. The phone was rumoured for an April launch.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S4 smartphone which was globally unveiled on 14 March will hit the stores on 26 April. Galaxy S4 sports a 4.99-inch 1920x1080 pixel Super AMOLED display with 441 ppi and runs on Android v4.2.2 OS Jelly Bean. The device features a 13.0-megapixel primary camera and a 2.0-megapixel pixel front-facing camera.
