Samantha and Amy Jackson will reportedly be seen romancing Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the actor's next movie.
Recent reports state the two divas have confirmed to play the lead roles in the forthcoming movie, which is currently known as "Vijay 59". Before news of Samantha and Amy bagging the roles surfaced, top Bollywood names like Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha were also doing the rounds.
While Samantha has romanced Vijay earlier in blockbuster "Kaththi", Amy Jackson will be working with Ilayathalapathy for the first time.
As far as the other cast is concerned, comedian Vadivelu - whose combination with Ilayathalapathy has worked big time before in films like "Pokkiri" and "Sachin" - has been signed to add to the humour element.
In the forthcoming untitled movie, Vijay will be seen as a cop. The movie is bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Dhanu. The hunt for the other cast and crew is already on.
Update on 'Puli'
"Puli" is the next release of Vijay. The movie is at the shooting stage and the film unit is busy choreographing in and around Athirapally waterfalls. The latest schedule is likely to complete by the end of March third week.
The makers of "Puli" are planning to complete the shooting before 15 April. The post-production works will consume a couple of months and the makers are hoping to release the film in June or July.
"Puli" is a mega-budget movie, starring Vijay, Shruti Haasan, Sudeep, Sridevi Kapoor, and Hansika Motwani. This Chimbudevan directorial is a fantasy-adventure, which is produced by Shibu Thameens and PT Selvakumar.
