"Jai Ho" heroine Daisy Shah has landed in some trouble as the actress has been named in a police complaint from a UP-based actor.
Satyendra Singh, a Bhojpuri actor, has filed an 'attempt to murder' case against 21 people, including Salman Khan's "Jai Ho" co-star.
Daisy's name features in the First Information Report (FIR), along with ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya and actor Rajneesh Duggal.
Satyendra was reportedly associated with a film named "Soda", along with Daisy and Ganesh.
"I was working on a film called 'Soda', where Daisy was playing the lead with me and Ganesh was choreographing. I had written the script for it. However, within two days of the film's shoot at Kamalistan studio, the crew tried to throw me out of the project. I was told that Daisy wanted to work with a known star and wanted me out," Satyendra told Bollywood Life.
Meanwhile, as per a Daily Bhaskar report, the Bhojpuri actor was a former aide to gangster Abu Salem. Satyendra filed the complaint, after he met with a car accident in UP recently. The actor has alleged in the FIR that it was not an accident, and 21 persons, including the aforementioned trio, had attempted to kill him.
When asked about the incident, Daisy confirmed that she had acted in a song for "Soda" but is not associated with the project anymore, while choreographer Ganesh insisted he does not know Satyendra or the matter as a whole.
