Last year, Shah Rukh Khan's "Dilwale" trailer was attached to Salman Khan's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", and now, in a return gift of sorts, "Sultan" teaser trailer will be attached with SRK's "Fan", according to reports.
Salman's "Sultan" is set for Eid 2016 release, but reports suggest the first teaser will be out in April. It will be attached to Shah Rukh's most awaited movie "Fan", which is slated for a 15 April release.
"Sultan's teaser trailer will be attached to the prints of Shah Rukh Khan's Fan. Given that both are YRF-backed films, it was a no-brainer," DNA quoted a source as saying.
Shah Rukh and Salman now share a great rapport, and thus there was no issue attaching the trailer of "Sultan" with "Fan". But even when Salman and Shah Rukh were not good friends, the trailer of "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" was attached with "Ek Tha Tiger", thanks to production house YRF.
Meanwhile, the trailer release of "Sultan" is the second good news for Salman's fans. On Friday, the makers of the film announced the leading lady of "Sultan". Anushka Sharma, who has shared screen space with Shah Rukh and Aamir Khan, will be seen romancing Salman in "Sultan".
"The most eagerly awaited announcement of 2016 is here! Anushka Sharma will star opposite Salman Khan in Yash Raj Films' SULTAN, (sic)" Yash Raj Films said in a statement.
"Sultan", produced under Yash Raj Films and written-directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, will tell the story of a wrestler, and Salman has undergone intensive training for the titular role. Salman will also try mixed martial arts for the film with international action director Larnell Stovall.
