Salman Khan's rakhi sister Shweta Rohira and Pulkit Samrat's married life is going through a rough phase as the two have separated.
Shweta herself confirmed the news and said that Pulkit left her for his family and she has decided to move on.
Salman's rakhi sister and her husband have been living separately for quite some time now and, of late, there was a buzz that the couple was about to go for a divorce.
However, the rumours were set aside when Pulkit was asked about it and he replied saying, "Please do wish us on our first anniversary on 3rd November." Moreover, Shweta also shared a photo in which she flaunted her palm designed with mehendi on the night of Karva Chauth.
Nevertheless, Pulkit's wife has herself cleared the air now, confirming their separation.
"My husband and I have been living separately for a while now. He told me that he was separating from me because of his family. To us, families are very important. They are our lifelines. And, since I always believed in giving him whatever he wants, I have reconciled to the fact that he has left me for his family," Times of India quoted Salman's rakhi sister as saying.
Earlier, there were reports that Pulkit and actress Yami Gautam were spending a lot of time together during the shooting of a film and the two have become more than just friends.
However, Shweta refused to comment on the Yami Gautam episode and said that she has decided to move on. She also said that though she observed the Karva Chauth rituals, her husband was not there with her at that time.
Pulkit and his wife have been staying at their respective parents' home at Delhi and Mumbai respectively. The two got married in 2010 and Salman himself did the "kanyadaan" of his rakhi sister.
Having already separated, only time will tell if Pulkit and Shweta resolve the issue or file for divorce.
