Salman Khan's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" has become the most watched Bollywood movie on TV in 2016, according to the Broadcast Audience Research Council of India (BARC). Second in the list is Akshay Kumar starrer "Singh Is Bliing."
The year 2016 has had several big Bollywood releases, but the Salman-starrer secured the top slot, beating films like "Dilwale," "Bajirao Mastani," "Fan" and "Airlift." While Salman's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" was a big hit, "Singh Is Bliing" is one of the biggest blockbusters of Akshay. Interestingly, both the movies were released in 2015.
Tiger Shroff's "Baaghi" has secured the third slot, followed by "Kanchana 2" and "Sanam Re" in the list of most watched Hindi movies in 2016 on TV. BARC counts the viewership of the film in "impressions" that are counted in thousands.

Earlier, it was reported that Tiger Shroff's "Baaghi" was one of the most downloaded movies of 2016 as well on BitTorrent. The film was among the top 10 most pirated movies on the site which had suggested the craze that was around the action movie. "Baaghi" was in 10th position and was the only Bollywood movie in the list.
Both Salman and Akshay have been having a wondeful phase at the box office. After the success of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan," Salman had taken the box office by storm with "Sultan." On the other side, Akshay had given three back to back hits in 2016 with "Airlift," "Housefull 3" and "Rustom."
