Salman Khan's latest flick "Kick" turned out to be one of the biggest hits of this year.
And after receiving overwhelming responses from the viewers, Sajid Nadiadwala, who made his directorial debut with the film, was said to be mulling over a sequel.
And now buzz is that the director has registered a title "Devil" for his next project, which gives a hint that the project could be a sequel to "Kick".
Khan in the film played the character "Devil", which along with the song became hugely popular.
"Sajid has registered the title because he feels it is very catchy and popular. People have loved the song and after Kick released, many even thought that the sequel would be called Devil, given that Salman played Devil in the film," a source told Bollywood Life.
Currently, both Nadiadwala and Khan are busy with their respective work commitments. While Nadiadwala is busy with his production house, the superstar is shooting for "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo". He has also joined hands with Karan Johar for his next project "Shuddhi".
Although, both Nadiadwala and Khan are planning to team up once again, they would start working on it only after a few years, revealed the source.
"He is working on it. Neither does he have the time nor does Salman have dates. Yes, the two of them are planning to make it a franchise, but it will not happen in the next few years for sure" said the source.
With the news, looks like the second installment of the blockbuster film, which is most likely "Devil", will go on floors after a few years.
Apart from Khan, "Kick" also featured Jacqueline Fernandez in lead actress role while Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui played important characters in the action thriller.
