Salman Khan has launched several actresses in Bollywood, and most of them made it big eventually. However, one aspiring Bollywood actress does not want the superstar's help, and she is a cousin of one of Salman's ex-girlfriend.
Sana Ali, cousin of former Bollywood actress Somy Ali, is preparing to enter the industry, but has said she has no plans to approach the "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" actor for it.
In an interview with DNA, Sana was asked if she has thought about approaching Salman for a break in Bollywood. She replied: "I haven't thought of approaching Salman at all. I haven't seen Salman in the longest time. He is a great guy and I know that he does a lot of charity work. I respect him a lot."
Recalling an incident, Somy Ali's cousin said she had last met Salman in Florida when she was around 10 years old, and it was a nice experience.
Salman and Somy reportedly met through a common friend and were soon in a relationship. They dated each other for eight years but then things turned sour, following which Salman and Somy broke up in 1999.
Salman holds the reputation of introducing a number of female faces to the industry, including Katrina Kaif, Zareen Khan and Daisy Shah, and many of them consider him a mentor.
