It's not unusual to see fans gathered at a shooting location to have a glimpse of their favourite star, but with Salman Khan, the crowd gets bigger.
The superstar, who is currently in a small village in Rajkot shooting for Sooraj Barjatya's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" along with his team, is often surrounded by huge crowds, mostly youngsters, from morning till night.
However, in a shocking turn of events, one of his fans went on a hunger strike only to get a picture clicked with the "Kick" star, reported Daily Bhaskar.
Maulik Babubhai Sheeshangiya, who runs a men's palour in the area, reached the shooting location and insisted that the superstar should meet him and get a picture clicked with him.
The 22-year-old crazy fan then went on a hunger strike, with a Salman banner above him, and said he won't break his fast until his wish gets fulfilled. However, the fan was arrested by the police.
Reports suggest that it's not only him who is mad about meeting Salman; the entire village is crazy to meet the favourite star.
This is not the first time fans have created trouble on sets.
Last month, Salman, who is also shooting for Kabir Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" was so angry with some of his notorious fans on a bike that he had to step out of his car to chase them.
"Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" has Salman play a double role, one as a common man and the other as a prince. The film has Sonam Kapoor in the role of a princess. Both Salman and Kapoor will share screenspace in the film after Kapoor's debut movie "Saawariya".
The family drama, also features Anupam Kher, Swara Bhaskar, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepak Dobriyal in important roles. It is likely to be released around Diwali this year.
