"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" actors Salman Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui might reunite soon for the Hindi remake of a Telugu film. Salman will reportedly team up with producer Sajid Nadiadwala for the Hindi remake of Telugu thriller "Kshanam."
Salman recently watched the film along with Sajid and now the actor has shown a keen interest in remaking the film. He has already purchased the Hindi remake rights and will work on the film next year.
"Salman caught a private screening of the thriller, Kshanam, with his longtime filmmaker friend Sajid Nadiadwala, and loved every minute. He's bought the remake rights," a friend informed Mumbai Mirror.
Ravikanth Perep's directorial Telugu film "Kshanam" features Adivi Sesh and Adah Sharma in the lead roles. The film is about a U.S. based NRI who comes to India in search for his ex-girlfriend's daughter. If all goes well, Salman will portray Adivi's character in the Hindi remake. While there has been no confirmation about the other cast members, rumour has it that Salman wants to cast Nawazuddin in the negative role. The film also requires a child artist, but it remains to be seen whether Harshaali Malhotra of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" fame will work with Salman again or not.
"The estranged lovers reunite by the end and Salman enjoyed that back story the most," the source said, adding: "Casting is currently underway. Bhai has his eyes set on his favourite co-star in recent times, Nawazuddin Siddiqui (Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan) to play the antagonist. The film requires a child as well. We'll have to wait and watch if the Bajrangi Bhaijaan cast reunites once again."
