Salman and Kabir Khan's next, titled "Tubelight," has got people talking. Adding to the excitement, it has been learnt that there isn't any need of a leading lady in the film.
"Salman Khan-Kabir Khan's next film does not call for a heroine. The story revolves around three principal characters: Salman Khan, his brother and a child from China. The basic premise is about the transformation of Salman Khan's character. There is no villain in the film. Like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the situation plays the villain in this film," a source told the Catch News.
Contradicting these reports are speculations, which claim the makers are looking out for a Chinese actress alongside Salman. What's strange is Amar Butala, COO of Salman Khan Films, had partially confirmed the news they were looking for an artiste from the other side of the border.
"We go on floors in Ladakh in July 2016 which is two months from now, post the release of Sultan. We are still working on the locations where the film will be shot, but all I can tell you is the fact that we start in Ladakh," the web portal quoted Amar as saying.
Scheduled to open in theatres on Eid 2017, the team will begin working on it July onwards. This is the actor-director duo's third film after "Ek Tha Tiger" (2012) and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" (2015), both of which went on to be big earners at the box office.
In other news, Salman will next be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar's "Sultan," in which he plays Sultan Ali Khan, a Haryana-based wrestler. The sports drama features Anushka Sharma, Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh in key roles.
