Superstar Salman Khan might have held a grudge against director Karan Johar.
Though the actor made a long due appearance on Karan Johar's hit chat show "Koffee with Karan," his possible reason of restraining himself might have been his displeasure with Karan.
In one of the deleted scenes from Salman's interview on the show, the actor is heard saying that Karan has acted cold towards him and failed to appreciate his efforts.
Salman had readily obliged for a guest appearance in the role of Aman Mehra for the blockbuster film "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai."
But not many know that the role was offered to Chandrachur Singh and Saif Ali Khan initially, who rejected it. The superstar revealed that despite his ongoing shoot of "Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai," he took up the role readily.
Salman went on to say that he obliged to be part of Karan's film due to the kind of family ties they shared and reference from common friends, but he failed to appreciate his efforts and never worked with him again.
When Johar in course of the interview mentioned his first experience of working with Salman in "KKHH", the "Dabanng" star said: "We had such a great working rapport and relationship that he (Johar) has never worked with me after that."
"It was not difficult for you to get a Shah Rukh Khan in the film but it was very difficult for you to get this casting (pointing to himself). Because at that point, Saif and Chandracur were doing nothing, still they refused it."
"I did it Karan, I knew, I saw talent, I saw genius in you. And after that, you never worked with me."
The director looked speechless hearing this and with Salman's pinching answers, it becomes evident as to why the superstar refrained from making an appearance on "KWK" until this season.
