After giving out one of the biggest hits of 2009 "Wanted", Salman Khan and choreographer cum director Prabhu Deva are set to team up for another action thriller.
According to reports, Prabhu Deva is planning for an action-packed drama with Salman, who gave out a slew of hits post the success of "Wanted" such as "Ready", "Bodyguard", "Danbangg", "Ek Tha Tiger" and "Dabanng 2".
"Now people want Salman to do only action. It may be an action film with Salman. The story and the script have not been locked yet, so can't comment on it," Salman told IANS.
The film will reportedly be produced by Tips Industries Limited.
Praising Salman and refusing to accept credit for reviving the actor's career through "Wanted", Prabhu Deva said, "I don't take the credit at all. If I would not have directed, someone else would have directed him. He has a huge fan following."
Recently, when asked about Salman's habit of arriving late for shootings, Prabhu Deva spoke in support of the actor saying, "Producers and directors are ok even if he comes late and when he comes late he compensate by working for more hours. His films are coming every five months and the actor works hard for it."
Prabhu Deva's "Rowdy Rathore" starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha was also an action film and earned him the tag of action director.
However, the talented dancer claimed he was more of a romantic director. "People accepted me as a action film director, but I am more romantic director as I am a choreographer before so with dance romance comes naturally," Prabhu Deva said.
The director's next venture is a romantic drama titled "Ramaiya Vastavaiya" starring Girish Taurani and Shruti Haasan. The film will hit screens on 19 July.
