It seems superstar Salman Khan has had enough of hosting Bigg Boss.
Salman had earlier hinted that he would step down as the show's host after this season. The star had faced some backlash for taking sides with Tanisha Mukherji in BB7 and was labelled as biased on numerous occasions.
Salman reiterated his desire to quit the show on Sunday's episode while talking to guests Parineeti Chopra and Siddharth Malhotra, who had come to promote their upcoming film "Hassi Toh Phassi".
Parineeti said she would turn up in the house again next season for promoting another film. Responding to this, Salman stated that someone else would be hosting the show by then; to which the actress expressed her shock.
Whether Salman will quit Bigg Boss after season 7 will be known only in the coming days but reports of the actor becoming the show's producer are doing rounds.
A recent report by Hindustan Times stated that Salman might step into the producer's shoes for "Bigg Boss 8." This season had witnessed numerous instances of difference of opinion between the show's creators and the channel's producers over the show's development.
This apart, Salman's tight schedule is said to have taken a toll on him. The actor, as per reports, is down with fever and has given a slip to quite a few events. Salman skipped the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) event recently and was also absent from brother Sohail Khan's birthday bash and Deepika Padukone's star-studded success party.
