If latest rumours are to be believed then ex-flames Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will team up for an item song in Atul Agnihotri's next venture.
Earlier, Atul had managed to rope in the British beauty for the "Aaya re aaya bodyguard" song from the film "Bodyguard" starring Salman and Kareena Kapoor. Salman was also seen grooving alongside Katrina in the song.
Reports said that Katrina will once again shake a leg with Salman, who will make a guest appearance in Atul's upcoming production venture featuring Pulkit Samrat and Sarah-Jane Dias in lead roles.
The audio track of the item song is said to be in the production stage.
However, Atul said that he is yet to finalise an actress for the song. "Guest appearances in movies usually translate into songs. But, honestly, we are still working on the track. Until that is done, I do not have anything else to say," The Times Of India reported.
It was said that Salman will commence the shooting for Atul's film once he wraps up the shooting of Sajid Nadiawala's "Kick". The filming has already kicked-off in London without Salman after he was rejected a UK visa.
This is not the first time reports emerged of Salman and Katrina's pairing in a item song. Earlier rumours hinted that they would match steps in a track for a sequel of 1983 film "Souten". It was said that the film's director Sawan Kumar Tak had approached the two actors for a special song in the sequel. However, neither the director nor the actors has confirmed the reports.
Salman and Katrina were last seen in 2012 blockbuster "Ek Tha Tiger". The film, directed by Kabir Khan, topped the list of highest grossers of that year.
