After his hat-trick success with South Indian movie remakes 'Wanted'(2008), Dabang (2010) and very recently 'Bodyguard'(2011), Bollywood actor Salman Khan is turning once again to the south. This time, he will be remaking Raghava Lawrence's Tamil movie 'Kanchana' on 3D.
According to sources, the remake of 'Kanchana' will start after the completion of the actor's 'Ek Tha Tiger.'
'Kanchana,' written and directed by Raghava, was released on July 2, 2011. The Telugu version of the movie had been released a week earlier. Both versions were hits.
'Kanchana' is a supernatural thriller movie with a strong social message. We need to wait to see if a supernatural film with two main characters - the protagonist and the spirit - would do well in Bollywood.
