Bollywood actor Salman Khan seems to have taken up the responsibility of launching aspiring actor and son of Aditya Pancholi - Suraj Pancholi.
The "Dabangg" star, who is set to launch Suraj in Bollywood through the remake of 1983 blockbuster "Hero", has preponed the shooting of the film from next year to November 2013. He has also asked his entire team to commence the pre-production work at once.
Revealing details of the project a source close to the venture said, "Hero was supposed to begin shooting in January 2014. It will now start in November 2013. Salman has asked the entire team to get into a work-mode immediately. The script is being re-worked to suit today's times," DNA reported.
According to reports, Laxmikant-Pyarelal's tracks from the original "Hero" will be used in the film and music composer duo Sajid-Wajid might create some fresh scores for the remake.
The reports of preponing the project come soon after Suraj flew to Hyderabad along with Aditya to meet Salman, who is shooting in the city for his upcoming film "Mental". Suraj, who was arrested in connection with the suicide of actress Jiah Khan, was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on 2 July. The budding star will soon start his gym sessions with Salman.
Salman's decision comes at a time when it was reported that the film would not take off after Suraj was arrested on charges of abetting the suicide of the 25-year-old actress.
Confirming reports that the shooting of "Hero" will commence soon, Suraj's father Aditya said, "Yes, by the grace of God everything seems to be getting back on the right track. We will be starting the film sooner than we thought."
