Here is a good news for Sonakshi Sinha's fans. Director Arbaaz Khan has confirmed that Parineeti Chopra is not replacing Sonakshi in "Dabangg 3." However, the director has also said that the film might have two lead actresses.
The hit pair of the "Dabangg" franchise – Salman Khan and Sonakshi – will come together for the instalment, which is said to be the prequel. Director Arbaaz in an interview with the Times of India rubbished all the rumours and said that Sonakshi will be a part of the third instalment "Dabangg 3."
"Sonakshi is going to be a part of 'Dabangg 3', in what capacity that is to be seen when the script is ready. But there might also be a possibility of another heroine in the film," Arbaaz told TOI.
So will Parineeti will be the second lead actress? The director is yet to confirm the third lead, but since he hinted at the possibility of two actresses in the film, fans can still hope that it is Parineeti.
Meanwhile, the film is currently in the pre-production stage and scripting is still going on. "Dabangg 3" will go on floors mid-2017. Salman is currently busy with "Bigg Boss 10" and his next film "Tubelight," directed by Kabir Khan.
Salman has started shooting for the promos of the reality show "Bigg Boss 10" and will start the shooting of "Tubelight" in August.
On the other hand, Sonakshi is busy with her upcoming films "Akira" and "Force 2," which are in post-production stages and "Noor," which is in the filming stage.
