Salman Khan reportedly wants Sanjay Dutt to play the role of his trainer in the upcoming movie "Sultan".
According to a report in DNA, Salman is very eager to cast Sanjay Dutt in "Sultan" and has also asked producer Aditya Chopra to approach the actor for the same.
"Salman is quite keen on getting Sanju for 'Sultan'. He thinks that Sanju will be great in the role and they will have fun while shooting. Also, Dutt who has been away is raring to go and wants to jump into work as soon as he is released. The talks are at its early stages as Adi also needs to figure out if there will be any legal hassle during the making of the film, and also if his release is delayed for some reason," the report quoted a source as saying.
Earlier it was reported that Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone will play the important role of Salman's trainer in "Sultan", but this has now turned out to be mere rumour as the film's executive producer has recently denied the same.
Sanjay is currently serving jail term in connection to the 1993 Mumbai bomb blast case and is expected to be free in December this year.
Salman and Sanjay were last seen together on the big screen in the movie "Chal Mere Bhai" in 2000, following which the duo hosted "Bigg Boss 5" together.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, the movie "Sultan" is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and will present Salman in the role of a wrestler from Haryana.
Although, the complete cast of "Sultan" is yet to be confirmed, speculations suggest the name of Parineeti Chopra as the lead actress in the film.
