Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are prepping for their upcoming films and a report suggests that the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" actor recently made a kind sacrifice for his "Andaz Apna Apna" co-star.
Salman and Aamir will be seen as wrestlers in "Sultan" and "Dangal" respectively and both the films were supposed to be shot around locations in Punjab and Haryana. However, Salman has reportedly shifted the shooting location of "Sultan" for Aamir.
"Salman takes a step back for friend Aamir. The shoot of 'Dangal' that started in Haryana and other locations across Punjab is reserved for Salman's buddy now. The actor will shoot for his wrestling film in Karjat to avoid replication," Bollywoodlife quoted a source as saying.
Apart from both the movies being based on the concept of wrestling, both Salman and Aamir will be seen portraying the roles of fathers in the respective films. Aamir was apparently sceptical that shooting both the films around same locations would make the two films appear repetitive.
It was earlier reported that Salman and Aamir were at odds with each other as the latter reportedly had a chat with the producers of "Sultan" to shift the location of their shooting to some other spot. However, this latest report suggests that all is well between the two superstars and Salman changed the shooting location for the sake of friendship.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Salman's "Sultan" is being produced by Aditya Chopra and is expected to be released on Eid 2016. On the other hand, Aamir's "Dangal" is a biopic on the legendary wrestler Mahavir Phogat and is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. "Dangal" is likely to hit screens on next year Christmas.
