Salman Khan has finally reacted to Priyanka Chopra's decision of quitting Bharat, and later signing a Hollywood film with Chris Pratt.
Although the superstar is not sure about the exact reason of PeeCee's decision, he said that he is happy for her.
"I am really happy for her. Uss waqt hum ko ye pata chalta ke unhone wahan par koi bahut badi film sign ki hai aur hume thoda pehla pata chalta to hum waise bhi usko kabhi rokte nahi (If we had known then that she has signed a big Hollywood film, we wouldn't have stopped her from leaving the film anyway). End moment pe pata chala, shooting ke 10 din pehle pata chala. Shooting shuru ho gayi thi meri, par unke schedule se 10 din pehle pata chala ki who picture chhodna chahti hai. (We go to know at the end moment, 10 days before the shooting that she wants to leave the film). We said of course, if you don't want to do it, don't do it. Uss waqt kuch alag reason diye gaye the hame (We were given some other reason then)," SpotboyE quoted Salman as saying during the trailer launch of Loveratri in Delhi.
Further, Salman said that even if Priyanka does not work with him, she is still making the nation proud with her work on foreign land.
"Jo bhi reason hai, shaadi ka reason ho, ya picture ka reason ho, ya unko India main nahi kaam karna, ya mere saath nahi kaam karna, sirf Hollywood film aur TV show karna hai, wo unka reason hai. (Whatever the reason maybe - her wedding, Hollywood films or her unwillingness to work with me - it's her reason.) We are really happy and supportive about her doing good work. Agar yahan pe kaam nahi kare to kya hua, waha pe to who Hindustan ka naam roshan kar rahi hai. Agar Salman Khan ke saath kaam nahi karna, waha ke kisi bade hero ke saath kaam kar rahi hai to Hindustan ka naam to roshan hota hai na (Even if she doesn't work here with me, she is making India proud by working there in Hollywood. If she doesn't want to work with Salman Khan, she'll work with a top actor in Hollywood and make our country proud)," the 51-year-old actor added.
Interestingly, Salman had dodged the same question in Mumbai by saying that he was busy these days, and hence, was not updated with the happenings. But he elaborately opened up on the same issue just some hours later.
It is still not certain if Priyanka backed out of the Salman starrer due to her Hollywood or it was for her rumoured engagement, and impending wedding with Nick Jonas.
