After showing his softer side in "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", Salman Khan will be back in the action avatar with his Eid 2016 release "Sultan".
Instead of one, audience will be entertained by two action movies the next year. Salman's close friend Aamir Khan is also coming up with his film that has a similar story. Aamir will appear in the film "Dangal", which is also on wrestling.
During a media interaction, Salman showed concern over his friend's health.
Asked about the preparation and precautions he will take for "Sultan" as he will be performing some high-octane action scenes, the "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" actor told Press Trust of India: "I will not use duplicates. I will make sure I do it. I will train hard for it. I will have to get bigger and stronger and that is difficult. I am 88, I will have to reach 94 and then come down to 70. It will be all muscles."
Apart from gaining and losing weight, Salman, who has seldom travelled abroad for film shoots, might fly to China to shoot the film.
The outdoor shoots to recreate the Asian Games will be in China and the indoor sequences are expected to be recreated in Delhi.
"He did travel extensively, though, for Kick and Ek Tha Tiger, since the subjects demanded it. Now, since Sultan, too, has a portion set in China, it won't be surprising if Salman boards that flight as well," DNA quoted a source as saying, according to Bollywood Life.
It is also reported that the entire creative and technical team of "Sultan" needs to recreate not only the 2010 Asian Games but also the 2010 Commonwealth Games that were held in India.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, "Sultan" will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and will present Salman in the role of a wrestler from Haryana.
