Salman Khan's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" — "PRDP" for short — is sure to set the cash registers ringing, but the superstar doesn't seem perturbed by numbers.
"This film is not about numbers or promotion. This film is about 'go and see it with the family'. Get everyone together, make it like when we would go for picnics with the family; make this one outing with the whole parivar. Trust me, you'll love it. Full-on entertaining film," IANS quoted him as saying.
The excitement around the film is immense, and a few factors outside of it are giving it an extra push.
The whole SRK-Salman bonding is working very well. After sharing a picture of the two on Twitter, the King Khan also grooved to the "PRDP" title track along with his "Dilwale" team and uploaded it on the micro-blogging site.
Also, now-quashed rumours of Salman's engagement to Iulia Vantur has in some way triggered the buzz.
"When the rumour about my engagement broke, some journalist called my father and said: 'Mubarak ho, Salman Saab has got engaged', and my dad, who obviously got a bit perplexed, replied - 'I don't think so. He is sleeping'," the actor told Pinkvilla.
In other news, certain reports say Salman plays a double role in the film — one of a prince, the other a commoner. Also, there's this long fight sequence in which the suave 49-year-old will be seen sword-fighting with Neil Nitin Mukesh.
Set to release on 12 November, the Sooraj Barjatya directorial also features Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Neil, Anupam Kher and Armaan Kohli in key roles.
