Superstar Salman Khan's alleged marriage plans with Lulia Vantur has been nullified by the actor's brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri.
The superstar had recently sparked of marriage rumours with his Romanian girlfriend Vantur, after he famously stated at an event, "(My) Father is Pathan, mother is Hindu, second mother is catholic, and brother-in-law is Punjabi. Wife, I am thinking to bring from outside," quoted PTI.
With Khan's candid remark, the media went crazy speculating whether the industry's most eligible bachelor had finally made up his mind on getting married. And reports of Khan tying knot this year began doing rounds.
However, the actor's brother-in-law Agnihotri has now come to clean the star's statements and refuted the reports as baseless.
"Who said Salman is getting married to Lulia? She is a friend of Salman and the girl he meets doesn't mean that he will get married to them," told Agnihotri to Daily Bhaskar before adding, "Salman's marriage is now become like a political issue, but as per I know he is not going to get married as of now."
Khan's association with Vantur provided the food for fodder for some time and recently when the actress shot for a special song in Agnihotri's "O Teri", the duo's liaison rose to prominence.
While the "Jai Ho" star did lead the media into his marriage speculations with his witty remarks, the actor had also cleared his aversion to the concept of formal union in the very same event, when he joked, "with the kid comes the mother and I don't want the mother."
With the development, we can only hope the wait for the superstar's big day materialises soon enough for his eager fans.
