Salman Khan's "Sultan" is one of the biggest movies of this year and it is obvious for other filmmakers to try and cash in on the film's popularity. It has been reported that the makers of Tiger Shroff starrer "A Flying Jatt" wanted to release the film's trailer along with "Sultan," but that did not happen due to producer Ekta Kapoor and Salman's apparent not-so-good terms.
It has also been reported that the makers of Emraan Hashmi starrer "Raaz Reboot" have taken the advantage and has got the approval of promoting the film in theatres running the Salman Khan-starrer.
Ekta Kapoor's film "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3" had showed a scene in which Tusshar Kapoor makes fun of Salman's "Dabangg" avatar and a report in Deccan Chronicle suggests that it did not go down well with the superstar. Hence, Ekta's production venture "A Flying Jatt" lost the opportunity of promoting the film along with "Sultan."
"We are not releasing the trailer with 'Sultan.' It is an 'art of sound' which will come before 'Sultan' starts in the theatres. It is a unique marketing plug from our side for 'Raaz Reboot,'" Vikram Bhatt told the daily.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, "Sultan" is slated to be released on July 6 and is expected to break several box office records. Trade experts have been speculating huge box office numbers for "Sultan" in the opening weekend itself, as it will have a five-day long weekend owing to Eid holidays.
Apart from Salman, the film also features Anushka Sharma. Both the stars will be seen as wrestlers. Produced by Yash Raj Films, "Sultan" will have Randeep Hooda as a wrestling coach and Amit Sadh in another key role.
