Salman Khan has yet again made his friendship with Shah Rukh Khan apparent by agreeing to attach the first trailer of "Dilwale" to "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo". Along with it, Salman has also made his differences with Sanjay Leela Bhansali evident.
It has been reported that Sanjay Leela Bhansali also wanted to release the first trailer of "Bajirao Mastani" along with "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" but the superstar turned down the proposal. Reports suggest that this is not the first time that Salman turned down Bhansali's request.
"A Month back, Eros International released Salman Khan's 'Hero' and the trailer of 'Bajirao Mastani' was to be attached to it, since Eros was co-producer on both. However, Salman Khan put his foot down. And again, for Salman's big Diwali release 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', Sanjay Bhansali was keen to have the trailer of 'Bajirao Mastani' attached to it. Salman put his foot down," Bollywood Hungama quoted a source as saying.
According to the report, Salman's equation with Bhansali suffered a crack ever since the latter signed Shah Rukh for "Devdas".
"Salman never forgave Bhansali for what he saw as a betrayal. Ironically now, Salman and Shah Rukh are friends, while Bhansali is left out in the cold," the source added.
While Salman's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" is slated to be released on 12 November, Shah Rukh's "Dilwale" and "Bajirao Mastani" will have a box office clash on 18 December.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, "Dilwale" features SRK, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. "Bajirao Mastani" stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.
