Salman Khan is known to have mentored several aspirant actors. After Pulkit Samrat and Sooraj Pancholi, latest reports suggest he is planning to launch his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, who is contemplating a career in Bollywood.
According to reports, Arpita Khan's husband is currently working as an assistant director in Salman's upcoming film "Sultan".
"Salman has some experience in this department, having mentored aspirants like Pulkit Samrat and Sooraj Pancholi with varying degrees of success. Only time will tell if he can make his favourite sister's husband a star," a source told DNA.
Arpita and Aayush tied the knot on 18 November last year at the Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad, which was followed by a star-studded reception in Mumbai on 21 November.
Recently, there was news that Arpita is expecting her first child. Salman's father Salim confirmed as much. "Yes, it is celebration time for the family once again, it's true that Arpita is expecting," he told Pinkvilla.
Meanwhile, Salman, who is riding high on the success of his recently released film "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", has started shooting for "Sultan".
Yash Raj Films' "Sultan" will see Salman playing a 40-year-old wrestler, for which he is undergoing a strict physical regimen to get into the skin of the character. The actor is being trained in mixed martial arts by Hollywood action director Larnell Stovall and his team.
