Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan is just two movies old and has already won the hearts of not only the audience but also Bollywood bigwigs. Salman Khan, Karan Johar and Rhea Kapoor are keen to work with Fawad and have reportedly offered him films.
Bollywood is really wooing this handsome hunk, according to a Mumbai Mirror report. Rhea Kapoor, sister of Sonam Kapoor, has reportedly offered Fawad a film titled "Battle For Bittora," which is based on Anuja Chauhan's bestseller of the same name. Fawad made his debut with Sonam in "Khoobsurat," so there are possibilities of the hunk agreeing to do the film.
It is also being said Salman has offered Fawad a film which is under his production. The flick is musical drama titled "Jugalbandi," for which Anil Kapoor has already been roped in. The makers are apparently waiting for Fawad's nod, but he seemed to be interested in Karan Johar's project, Mumbai Mirror reported.
"Fawad had dinner with Karan and Shakun recently. They sat at a corner table and discussed movies for two hours," an onlooker told the daily. Fawad has worked with them in "Kapoor and Sons," where Shakun Batra was the director and Karan was the producer. Also, the actor will be seen in a key role in Karan's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil." But, it looks like KJo wants Fawad as a lead in his next.
Meanwhile, he told the Hindustan Times in an interview he is currently going through several scripts, but nothing has been confirmed yet. He neither denied nor confirmed doing Salman's "Jugalbandi."
"Let's just say that we have been in talks with a lot of people, maybe 'Jugalbandi' is one of them. Nothing is concrete right now. Besides, I don't like talking about anything until I haven't penned it down on a piece of paper. When we are ready to make a public announcement, we will. As of now, we aren't associated with anything," Fawad told HT.
