Salman Khan and Iulia Vantur may not have made their "relationship" public, but their joint appearance at Preity Zinta and Gene Goodenough's reception bash has set off rumours that they are set to tie the knot sometime this year. The superstar has apparently agreed to the nuptials because his mother, Salma Khan, wants him to.
That the Romanian actress is an integral part of the Khan household was clear from the recent set of airport pictures, in which she is seen walking hand-in-hand with Salma, but now the concerned parties are set to take the equation to the next level. An insider told SpotboyE, that Salman and Iulia will take their vows on the actor's 51st birthday, Dec. 27.
This is all a speculation at this moment, and there has been no official announcement yet.
Meanwhile, reports have surfaced that Salman has already been receiving congratulatory flowers and gifts from close friends and relatives. Strangely, all the attention has got him shy and embarrassed.
He may be awkward about this new development in life, but that didn't come in the way of him introducing Iulia as his girlfriend at Preity-Gene's party. Apparently, he, Iulia, Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan danced into the night.
In other news, Salman will be next seen in "Sultan," a sports-drama, which follows the life of Haryana-based wrestler Sultan Ali Khan and his battles. Anushka Sharma will be seen playing Aarfa, a wrestler and Sultan's love interest. Scheduled to open in theatres on Eid, it has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and stars Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh in key roles.
