It seems that superstar Salman Khan is keen to revive his lost friendship with Shah Rukh Khan, The actor recently welcomed SRK to the upcoming season of his reality show "Bigg Boss".
On the eve of the "Bigg Boss" press event on Tuesday, Salman appeared surprisingly cool when questioned of his tricky relationship with Shah Rukh.
The 47-year-old went to the extent of asking SRK to promote of one his upcoming films in the reality show.
"Of course, he can come. If he is promoting his next film, he is more than welcome," the superstar said jovially, reported IANS.
Salman, in a mood to forgive and forget, was quoted by The Times of India as saying, "We met at the Iftaar party and how long can all this go on? It has to end somewhere.''
His reaction is somewhat contradictory to Shah Rukh's, who when asked of his equation with Salman post the famous hug, seemed uneasy. He politely refused to make a comment saying it was a private matter and not for up for public discussion.
On the other hand, Salman continued to speak on a lighter note about his competition with SRK and fellow actor Aamir. He even acknowledged Ranbir Kapoor in the process."If we have to hit at each other, we will do so through our work. Aamir is also coming (with his film now) and there is Ranbir too," he said.
By the looks of it, Salman seems keen to extend the olive branch to SRK, and probably to Ranbir Kapoor as well.
Salman's equation with Ranbir is highly questionable given the young actor's present relationship with his ex-lover Katrina Kaif. Ranbir was also in the news for attempting to mock Salman in the upcoming comedy film "Besharam" with the 'Chulbul Pandey' act.
