Salman Khan is probably one of the firsts in Bollywood to have gone shirtless on-screen and is someone who continues to flaunt his perfectly sculpted abs in films for his fans to gawk at.
According to a Bollywood Life insider, the actor wanted his bare-chested avatar to be perfect and hence worked out rigorously to achieve the look.
"When Kabir informed Salman about the shirtless scene, Salman was very clear that he wanted it to be perfect. He had been working out three times a day along with maintaining a very strict diet to look perfect on screen. The results have been fabulous and the crew cannot stop raving about how fit the actor looks on screen," the source elaborated.
Interestingly, reports have surfaced that the actor would drop the shirt for the climax scene of the Kabir Khan directorial. Meanwhile, he also has to aim for a lean look to suit the role of a 40-year-old boxer in "Sultan."
A source told DNA that since the past year has kept the superstar engaged with "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", he couldn't shed his bulky appearance. And with the limited time frame, it appears difficult to achieve an extremely toned body.
"With his heavy commitments, Salman is not sure how he will be able to give Sultan the time attention and single-minded focus it requires," the insider informed.
In other news, after backing out of Karan Johar's "Shuddhi", it is being said Salman's busy schedule might cost a lot to Boney Kapoor's "No Entry Mein Entry". Reportedly, the film has been delayed more than twice and is possibly, shelved.
