Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who recently underwent a seven-hour surgery at Pittsburgh in the U.S. to overcome a nerve problem, has started shooting for his most awaited film "Ek Tha Tiger".
The shooting of the movie, directed by Kabir Khan under the banner of Yash Raj Films, started in Dublin on Sept. 10. The movie is scheduled to be released on June 1, 2012.
Kartina Kaif, whose "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan" hit the screens this week, is acting with Salman after a small gap.
Salman, who is the man of the moment after breaking the Box Office records by his latest flick "Bodyguard", doesn't want to remain bedridden. The buzz is that the actor started shooting after defying strict rules prescribed by the doctors in the U.S.
"Salman has to get a check-up done in three months to decide if he needs to get a second procedure done," said Atul Agnihotri, the actor's brother-in-law and producer of "Bodyguard".
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan, who has blockbusters like "Ghajini" and "3 Idiots" to his credit, has reportedly said Salman Khan is presently the number one box office star.
"In the manner in which his film Bodyguard has got an opening, it has broken all records and today, according to me, if there is anyone who is the number one box office star, then that is Salman," said Aamir.
"He has proved with this film that he is ahead of all of us. I am very happy that his film is doing well. My good wishes are with him," Aamir told reporters at the music launch of his film "Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster" in Mumbai on Saturday.
"I was the one who gave him the good news of the massive opening of 'Bodyguard'," said Aamir.
When asked whether he would like to work with Salman again, Aamir responded: "I would love to work with Salman. We have a great tuning. So if we work together, it will be a great fun. But till the time we don't get a good script, a script that excites both of us, we can't work together."
"Andaz Apna Apna" was the only movie in which both the actors acted together.
