Salman Khan is known for mentoring and guiding people from the industry, and the recent celeb to seek help from the superstar is Chitrangada Singh, whose career has hit a dead end.
According to a Mumbai Mirror report, the actress was seen dropping by Khan's house on Wednesday noon. Putting an end to all possible speculations, a friend close to the "Kick" actor revealed, "Naturally, they discussed work. Which actress doesn't want to work with Salman?"
However, reports suggest that Khan was very welcoming and offered Singh a few career advices. "Salman doled out career advice and his little sister Arpita joined them for a tetea-tete in between," stated the report.
With no projects or endorsement deals lined up, and a divorce to boot, the dusky beauty saw a ray of hope in Khan. Known for introducing fresh faces and supporting budding actors, this actor is one large-hearted superstar.
Debuting with Sudhir Mishra's "Hazaaron Khwashein Aisi", Singh received rave reviews for her performance in the film. She followed it with a string of flops until the Akshay Kumar-John Abraham starrer "Desi Boyz" came along.
The sultry actress then went on to do an item number in Shirish Kunder's "Joker" which didn't quite work in anyone's favour. She now has just a special appearance in Kumar's next film "Gabbar".
Having worked with Mishra for almost a decade, it came as a shock when the director shut his doors for her. Talking about the cast of his upcoming film, he told Mumbai Mirror a few months ago that since Singh is in her late 30s and so she won't be able to do justice to the role. "I need a younger actress for this story. I haven't finalised my cast yet but Chitrangada (she's in her late 30s) is definitely not a part of this project as the role doesn't suit her."
